Rob caught Tug 39 on the 28th of March. Doing a pretty good Pendolino impression, it's seen passing Rugeley Trent Valley working 6K50 Toton-Crewe engineers wagons, which makes a pleasant change from 100 ton bogie tankers.
With the general rundown of the BR/Brush Class 60 locomotive in full swing, plus the wonder of modern technology which is the mobile phone equipped with camera and Blogger, this blog will attempt to keep you informed as to the activities of the Class in its final days/months/years (?). It's also an excuse to have a dip into other items of interest to a typical rail enthusiast and of course, have the occasional rant!

It's That Tug Again
Another shot of 60015, again on 6E41, taken at Tamworth on the 22nd of March by Rob Reedman, who is starting to wish they'd stick a different one on the front!
Another Mucky Miniature
This grotty Gronk is almost ready for exhibition, once I can find the little bag of buffer-beam pipe work to finish it off.

Silver Lining
A half hour delay to my train afforded this pic of 360115 & 360121 on the 08:11 Stowmarket-Liverpool Street on Monday. Shame it wasn't six feet further down the platform though!
