Rob Reedman nipped along to Warrington on the 18th of January and sent in this photo of 60099 working 6F74 12:11 Liverpool Bulk Terminal-Fiddlers Ferry Power Station, a turn that at one time looked likely to go over to 59/2 haulage.
With the general rundown of the BR/Brush Class 60 locomotive in full swing, plus the wonder of modern technology which is the mobile phone equipped with camera and Blogger, this blog will attempt to keep you informed as to the activities of the Class in its final days/months/years (?). It's also an excuse to have a dip into other items of interest to a typical rail enthusiast and of course, have the occasional rant!
