Dad and I took in Pathfinder's end of year jaunt around London and enjoyed the company of 56094 and 60092 on Saturday 22nd.
With the general rundown of the BR/Brush Class 60 locomotive in full swing, plus the wonder of modern technology which is the mobile phone equipped with camera and Blogger, this blog will attempt to keep you informed as to the activities of the Class in its final days/months/years (?). NVR Gala
With the promise of two (count 'em) Cl.56, including the recently resurrected 56091, at this year's Autumn Diesel do, Dad and I wend our way to the NVR yesterday. Pics not great, but the thrash was worth it.
66018
It's not all Freightliner and GBRf Sheds on GE freight. Knocking off an hour early on Monday afforded this snap of 4L45 from Wakefield, a DBS operated 'liner en route to Felixstowe.
Oh My, Double Rainbow

Burton
Peak Forest, Edale and Hope
Stour and Orwell
Another cloudless day and a need to satisfy myself that the last service on Dad's motor cured its appalling running meant a blat off to the Suffolk/Essex border for some phots at Cattawade before motoring to Felixstowe. Happily the car performed without fault, so off to Tug territory tomorrow!
This is the Life
The appalling Summer we've had was rumoured to break, which amazingly coincided with my holiday! It didn't disappoint and I took a swift shopping trip to Ipswich where the chance to record the 90 that took me there was grasped.
Morning Spoon
OLE problems between Ipswich and Diss this morning afforded this shot of the rarely photted GE Thunderbird prior to departure to Norwich. Just like the old days.
