It makes a change, this tour was in our neck of the woods but with money tight negating the opportunity to travel on it, Dad and I took the motor out and chased it instead.
I mostly used the video to record its passage (and will post footage next time I'm on the Mac) but a recent software acquisition on the phone is "Frame Grabber" for Xperia. A super little bit of code, it'll allow you to turn a frame from video into a medium sized jpeg, just the thing with the camera doing its funny business lately!
With the general rundown of the BR/Brush Class 60 locomotive in full swing, plus the wonder of modern technology which is the mobile phone equipped with camera and Blogger, this blog will attempt to keep you informed as to the activities of the Class in its final days/months/years (?). It's also an excuse to have a dip into other items of interest to a typical rail enthusiast and of course, have the occasional rant!
